Can’t find something to get your partner or friend for Valentine’s Day while being on a limited budget? Well, you’re in luck! I have some great ideas. 

Get your special someone some candy! They have Valentine’s day discounts all over town this time of year. Check out Target and even your local supermarket for last minute ideas.  You can even take it a step further and make your own homemade treats to show you care or even do it together as a fun way of expressing your appreciation for one another.  You can make homemade cake pops, chocolate strawberries, or even lollipops. 

If you have some money to spend, take your special someone out to dinner at some local places that offer discounts on Valentines Day such as Applebee’s or Chilis! Chat over some half price apps and fries while enjoying each others company. Going to the movies, ice skating or bowling are other reasonably priced options.

For a more personal gift, you can draw your special someone a picture, or even write them a letter. I’m sure they will appreciate it way more since it came from the heart!

If you are willing to splurge a bit on your partner, you can opt for some roses, earrings or a watch! Valentine’s Day isn’t just about receiving a present, it’s about appreciating the people that love you around you!
