On Friday February 15th, it was finally official; Devon Freshnock is going to Rutgers! After nearly a year of anticipation, Devon Freshnock signed her official letter of intent surrounded by administrators, teachers, coaches, family, friends, and fellow students. Devon Freshnock, who has dominated Field Hockey at North since she was a freshman was recruited by Rutgers, and will certainly be a positive presence as a student and player there. Freshnock, has achieved academic and athletic excellence while at North, and will surly make Middletown North proud, as she plays on at Rutgers. She is an inspiration for her school, a role model for her teammates, and classmates, and moreover a distinguished member of the Class of 2013.
