That is what occurred this past Saturday during the annual Middletown day at Croydon Hall. Our town’s tradition came back into full swing this year after being canceled the previous year. The event began at 10 a.m. and lasted all day long until 6 p.m.
There were countless activities for all ages, and what made it even better was that most of the activities were free. There was a bounce-a-house for all ages (as long as you fitted the weight requirement), there were free games where everyone was a winner and received a prize and there was also a hayride that took riders around the entire Middletown fest.
North nation was also present at Middletown Day. There were two tents set up next to the children magician show where North nation was having face painting, nail painting, and stick on tattoo station. They were collecting donations for needy people in Middletown. The lions were able to raise about $200, and would like to thank everyone who donated to their cause and came out to Middletown Day.
After the positive outcome that Middletown Day received, the festival will once again become our town’s yearly tradition.
