NY Giants Running Back Tyrone Tracy Jr went down with a shoulder injury after taking a big hit against the Chiefs. Other notable injuries were James Conner, Lane Johnson, Derek Stingley Jr, Trevon Diggs, and Mike Evans.
Local Team News:
The New York Giants played a rough game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The final score was 22-9. Russell Wilson struggled to get anything going against the fierce Kansas City defense, but rookie Cam Skattebo had a great game as he asserted his dominance throughout the game. Jaxson Dart, the Giants 1st round pick will be making his first career start against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
The New York Jets played much better than the Giants but came up just short against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jets defense made a great effort to stay alive as Jets star defensive end Will McDonald blocked the field goal attempt from Chase McLaughlin and took it to the endzone. QB Baker Mayfield and the Bucs offense helped set up a game winning kick from Bucs kicker Chase McLaughlin to defeat the Jets. The Jets hope to rebound as they face the 0-3 Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
