The Middletown High School North Boys Soccer team delivered an impressive performance on Tuesday, dominating Matawan with a decisive 9-3 victory on Tuesday. The team made a strong statement by scoring all five of their goals in the first half, establishing an early lead that set the tone for the match.
Ryan Barneo, Louis Romeo, and Josiah Stepney were standout players, each contributing two goals to the team’s impressive tally. Middletown North, now with a record of 9-8, showcased not only their goal-scoring prowess but also their teamwork, with Nick Dinella leading the way in assists, providing four to his teammates.
Additionally, Paul Que contributed to the offensive effort with one goal and two assists, while Greg Boyadjian added another goal to the scoreboard. Edwin Isidro also made his mark with an assist, rounding out a strong team effort that highlighted Middletown North’s attacking capabilities and solidified their victory over Matawan.
