The Shore Conference’s divisional races came became much clearer after a busy Week 6.
Toms River North, Rumson-Fair Haven, Central, Manchester and Shore all clinched ties for divisional championships and can win outright divisional titles with wins on Oct. 25.
Middletown North and Freehold Township will decide who wins the Class B North championship when they meet Oct. 25. The outcome of the ultra-competitive Class C North division will have to wait until Thanksgiving Day as Holmdel, Wall and Manalapan are all tied for first place with Wall’s remaining divisional game on Thanksgiving Day. Meanwhile, Middletown North, which is off to its best start in 41 seasons, continues its move up the rankings in the Asbury Park Press Super 25. The Lions move up to No. 4 this week.
Point Pleasant Borough, off its win over Brick Memorial, moves up to No. 3.
