MARLBORO, NJ — Middletown North scored five runs in the top of the seventh and held on for a 6-1 baseball victory over Marlboro on Monday.
Seamus McCabe allowed four hits and no earned runs in six innings for the win. He struck out three batters and walked one. Louis Romeo struck out two batters in a 1-2-3 seventh inning.
Ryan Clark went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs batted in, Alipio Figueroa singled and drove in two runs, Ian McGoldrick went 2-for-3 and Aldo Casale had a hit and an RBI for Middletown North (12-12).
