Middletown High School North sophomore golfers Paige Peyton and Evely Sarin have been recognized by the Asbury Park Press as some of the top golfers in the Shore Conference.

On May 1, 2024, Asbury Park Press writer Stephen Edelson released his “Shore High School Golf Player Rankings: Top boys, girls from freshman & sophomore classes”.  Within his Top 30 ranking, Peyton and Sarin were identified as rising stars within Monmouth and Ocean County.

The Lions have seen both of the sophomores displaying competitive play including Sarin who recently shot a 27 against Wall High School during the Lions tough contest on April 24, 2024. Peyton shot a 26, allowing her to earn third place during the round.  The Lions will look to continue to grow and the future looks bright with these talented sophomores leading the way.
