The Middletown North Flag Football Team hosted Senior Day on April 30, 2024 prior to their game with Henry Hudson. The Lions feature six seniors on this year’s squad that have provided leadership and excellent play during the 2024 campaign. Seniors Demi Fredericks, Madeline Curcio, Julia Jensen, Ashley Rizzo, Chloe Baeta and Kaitlyn McNamara.
The ceremony featured each senior and their families being recognized. Mr. Kevin Prefer was there to photograph and provide these seniors with amazing memories that he posts to his website www.jerseypics.com.
After the ceremony, the Lions continued their winning ways by putting on a show for the home crowd. The Lions have started their 2024 season on fire with a 4-0 start and three regular season games left. The Lions who are led by Coach Steve Bush have defeated Red Bank Catholic (32-18), Keansburg (22-14), Matawan (41-8) and Henry Hudson (39-8). The Lions have seen strong play from sophomore quarterback Piper Brink, while Julia Jensen, Jade Goworek, Kaitlyn McNamara, and Demi Fredericks have been major contributors to the team’s success.
The Lions will look to keep the winning streak going as they take on Raritan, Rumson Fair Haven and Middletown South over the next few weeks.
