Madilynn Boyce threw a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts and one walk to push Middletown North, No. 19 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 3-2 win over Manasquan in Middletown.

Midd North (10-3) bounced back from the Warriors (7-6) scoring a tying run in the top of the sixth by scoring a go-ahead run in the bottom of the inning.

The Lions scored a run in each of the first two innings to take a 2-0 lead and Manasquan scored a pair of runs in the sixth. Brianna Soto finished 3-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Lindsay Fuller struck out seven and walked two for Manasquan.
