Middletown High School North’s girls and boys Track and Field teams has impressive performances this past week at the Monmouth County and Shore Conference Championship meets.  The Lions performances included gold medal victories from Hailey Guerrieri and Levi Wilson.

After capturing the Monmouth County High Jump Championship with a score of 5-10, Levi Wilson earned his second first place high jump finish at the Shore Conference Championship Meet. Wilson also broke the Middletown High School North Boys Indoor Track long jump record with a leap of 21-7.

Hailey Guerrieri has continued her strong career for the orange and black.  The Lady Lion ran an 8.67 to take the gold in the Monmouth County Championship in the 55 meter hurdles event, narrowly defeating her Middletown High School North teammate Katie Mayhew, who placed second with a 9.14 finish. Guerrieri also added more hardware to her collection by capturing the Shore Conference Championship in the 55 hurdles scoring a personal best 8.60.
