The No. 10 Middletown High School North Basketball Team had a strong win versus the Neptune Scarlet Fliers in a Class B North matchup by a score of 56-30. Senior forward Tommy Giannone scored 23 points to go with eight rebounds and two blocks as the Lions (4-3, 2-0) handled the Scarlet Fliers (1-4, 0-2) in the second half to pick up the victory.

Senior Matt Kenny scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three assists for Middletown North.  The Lions flipped the switch during the second half of the game by outscoring Neptune, 39-11, after trailing by 19-17 at halftime.
