Middletown North Basketball Players Assist Habitat for Humanity

On Saturday Dec. 18th, High School North basketball teammates Matt Kenny, Matt Spinella, Colin Devine, Lucas Cerbo, and Zac Searight volunteered with Habitat for Humanity’s Monmouth County branch to help construct a home in the nearby borough of Atlantic Highlands for a family in need.

Over the course of the day these seniors helped secure the front and back porches by installing hurricane brackets, in addition to outfitting the home with four trusses on the porch roof.

Ron, the construction site manager was a great help and all the boys learned a great deal about all that goes into building houses. The basketball team will continue to volunteer with this project throughout the winter, and can’t wait to see the finished product.

Thank you to the High School North boys basketball program for its efforts to give back to the community!
