Middletown North Hockey Focused on Title Run for 2018!

The Middletown North Ice Hockey team is looking  to start a playoff run to the NJSIAA Championship game.  The Lions will begin with their opening round match-up against Princeton High School at the Middletown Ice Center on Tuesday (February 20) at 7:50 PM. The Middletown North Lions are the No. 6 seeded heading into the round of 16 of the Public B hockey bracket after earning a first round bye.  They will look to move past a talented No. 11 seed in Princeton behind strong leadership from Senior captains Brad Heuer and Justin Skelly. The boys suffered a tough loss last week against Rumson Fair-Haven in preparation for this week’s state game.  However, both Middletown North and Princeton should be confident going into this game.  Both teams reached the NJSIAA Semifinal game last year and are looking to push further into the tournament.  The Middletown Ice Center is going to be filled with electric tonight and it is highly recommended that you get there early to reserve some seats, it’s going to be a packed house!
