With indoor track nearing the end of its season, the boys continue to go strong and show North´s real endurance and pride at the Shore Conference.

Many medals were won during the day. One of the team’s biggest accomplishments was coming in first place in the four man 400-meter race. Setting a new school record of 3 minutes 31 seconds, the group of senior runners included Jake Zappala with 52 seconds, senior Joey Guerrieri with 52 seconds, Raphael Goos with 55 seconds, and Frankie Marrone with 50 seconds.

Individual awards were also won during the track meet. Frankie Marrone also placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1 minute 59 seconds. Senior Kelli Molnar placed sixth in the 800-meter dash with 2 minutes 25 seconds. Sophomore Katelyn Reid placed sixth in the high jump, reaching over 5 feet. Katelyn was also named the Shore Conference Champion in the 55-meter hurdle, running a time of 8.65 seconds.

The brilliant performances given by all the athletes that participated show how resilient and talented North students are and how powerful the new students will be in the future.
