North Girls Soccer Gains Another Victorious Win!
On Wednesday, September 27, 2017 the Lady Lions led a victorious win against Manasquan. The goals were scored by Katelyn Reid, Sam Ferris and Casey Bogues, resulting in a 3-0 win. The game was well-played all around as it was a tough match.
“At the end of the day it does not matter who puts the ball in the back of the net; all that really matters is that the team benefited from it, and that we all worked together to do it,” Casey Bogues said.
Middletown North now stands in 2nd with a 5-2 record for the conference division and 7-2 overall. Wall is the lead competitor in first place with a 9-1 overall. Manasquan stands in 5th. The girls have a game tomorrow against RBC, and it should be an interesting game, considering RBC is in 4th with a 5-3 record overall.
On another high note, Haley Martin is in the running for goalkeeper of the week! Be sure to vote for her at on.app.com/2xvAMjA and come support the girls tomorrow at RBC’s Count Basie Fields at 6:30!
