The one and only melodic voice, Hozier, has just recently come out with four new songs on his EP called Unheard. You may have heard his infamous song “Take Me to Church” and other various works by him. His genres are that of mixed elements including indie rock, gospel, folk, soul, and pop. The new songs from March were composed with his 2023 album Unreal Unhearth. Though my favorite song is “Francesca” which tells the tale of Dante’s Inferno, his songs “Too Sweet,” “Wildflower and Barley”, “Empire Now,” and “Farewell” are sure to pull at your heartstrings.
The Irish singer is currently on tour and making his rounds around ten countries with about 78 concerts in total. Hozier’s closest concert to Middletown High School North is Forest Hills, New York in June. Such a great composer of poetry and music deserves to be heard. Hozier’s voice is an infinite softness that will surely be added to your routine driving playlist or perhaps sing you to sleep in the upcoming warm summer nights.
