“Color Wars” at New Monmouth Baptist Church
MIDDLETOWN — On Thursday, September 27, members of the New Monmouth Baptist Church invited students in grades 6-12 to participate in its annual Color Wars Event. The church grounds were covered with paint-filled balloons and there was even a Slip ‘N Slide!
With at least 50 pounds of paints used in total, no one left spotless. The Color Wars was an event meant for kids to have fun and make friends throughout the course of the evening. Needless to say, the event was definitely a success.
Pastor Nick D’Angelo, along with youth leaders, helped organize the event. Children were provided with pizza and refreshments, as well as iced pops for dessert.
The church runs multiple events throughout the year for those interested in making new friends and trying something new and exciting. For more information about what’s happening next with the New Monmouth Baptist Church, visit http://www.nmbchurch.org.
