The Middletown High School North French Department brought home trophies for the school in ‘Le Tournoi Francais,’ a French-based competition judged by various Rutgers professors.

The first victor was junior Dalia Habiby, who not only placed in the top 7 for the French Spelling Bee but also came in first place for the Contemporary Song competition, singing a song by French artist Zaz.

Senior Julia Fuchs also brought home a trophy for French Poetry, winning first place for her excellent recitation.

Senior Christelle Chemaly also competed in the French Spelling Bee.

Congratulations to all of the competitors in the competition! Our school is proud of your accomplishments!
