Band and Choir Bring Holiday Cheer to North

On Thursday, December 14th, Middletown High School North hosted their annual winter concert. Band Director, Mrs. Lyon, conducted different holiday songs that students have been working on for a few months. During the show, Principal Dr. Cartier joined the band on stage and conducted Sleigh Ride as the students played. The North jazz band and a small ensemble performed renditions of Greensleeves and ‘Lo How A Rose Air Blooming.

The choir appeared on stage following the band, where they sang a beautiful array of holiday songs. All the students worked very hard practicing for this, with the help of Mr. Isherwood. The A Capella group performed before the choir, accompanied only by a beat boxer.

Parents and students of all ages enjoyed the wonderful time at the winter concert and said that they would love going back and watching everyone perform again next year.
