Civic Leadership Hosts Charity Event
Middletown North’s Civic Leadership is holding a donation drive through December 22, 2017 that will contribute to The Bayshore Lunch Program, The Calico Pantry, and The Tinton Falls Humane Society.
Non-perishable food items, canned, and boxed are among the acceptable food items to donate to the program. Fall and Winter coats of all sizes as well as dog supplies of food, treats, beds, leashes, collars blankets, and towels are also needed amongst items donated.
Students partaking in the class will be bringing boxes to hold the donations in each teacher’s classroom, where some will be awarding extra credit to their students for bringing them in. Donations may also be dropped off in Mr. Ritter’s room, 1411.
The kind gesture of the holiday season will benefit families within the local areas surrounding and within Middletown who cannot fulfill their Christmas wishes. Donations of any of the acceptable kinds will be appreciated of any size. The donations will be running through December 22 at the end of the school’s half day.
