Could School Food Actually Taste Good?

Are you tired of school lunches being overpriced for the lackluster food that tastes like cardboard? Wondering if this is even real food that could be good for you? There is a new idea that could greatly benefit the whole school: growing our own food using special technology called the Vertical Farms. This allows schools to grow small crops allowing students to control the climate and space that it occupies.

To understand how the students would respond to such a dramatic change to the menus in the cafeteria, Karen Smith, a senior at Middletown High School North, replied to “How do you feel about the school lunches now?” with “they could be better.”

“It is a good idea to make the most natural and healthy foods,” she said. “This would be an improvement because so many foods are processed.”

Health is such an important topic in the twenty-first century, and to make sure that our friends and students can eat something they know is real food, why not do it ourselves?
