On Monday, October 10th, 2016 the Middletown High school North Orange Wave marching band traveled to New York City to attend the Columbus Day parade. Arriving to New York at 11 AM, they walked down a street off of 5th Ave to set up. Once the parade started, they played all their music as the color guard spun their flags in front.

Guard captain, Maria Bonassisa said that the color guard did really well. Especially for the newbies being in their first ever parade.
