MIDDLETOWN – Middletown High School North is proud to recognize October as the Month of Prevention, dedicating time and activities to raising awareness about respect, healthy choices, and safe communities. Throughout the month, students and staff will participate in events and initiatives that highlight the importance of prevention and positive decision-making.
As part of this effort, North will observe Respect Week, Red Ribbon Week, and Violence Prevention Week. Each week will focus on building a culture of kindness, encouraging students to live drug-free, and promoting nonviolence in schools and beyond.
“These events give our students the tools to make healthy choices, treat one another with respect, and work together to create a safe and supportive school environment,” said school officials.
By recognizing October as the Month of Prevention, Middletown High School North continues its commitment to fostering student well-being and preparing young people to make thoughtful, positive contributions to their community.
