Come volunteer to help those in need this holiday season! This Friday, December 20, Middletown Helps Its Own will be hosting their Christmas food & toy packing event at New Monmouth Baptist Church at 6 PM.
They are looking for volunteers, preferably over the age of 16, to help organize the food and toy boxes, which they will later deliver to hundreds of local families in need (almost 400 families in 2023!). If interested in signing up to volunteer this Friday night, you can send a direct message to the Middletown Helps Its Own Facebook account with your name and phone number.
They will be collecting canned, non-perishable food, new toys, hats, gloves, teen gifts and gift cards. If you would like to donate to Middletown Helps Its Own, you can drop off donations at the New Monmouth Baptist Church on Thursday 12/19 (at any time) or Friday 12/20 (morning or afternoon).
