Hey there, Middletown High School North students! Get ready for an awesome event happening this Thursday, December 21, right after school in the cafeteria. It’s the first annual Pizza Eating Competition, hosted by the Italian Honor Society and their amazing advisor, Julia Fielding.
There will be about a dozen competitors battling it out to devour an entire pizza pie from Valentino’s first. If you’re up for the challenge, you can sign up to compete for just $12. And if you’d rather cheer on your classmates, admission to watch is only $1. You can pay at the door to get in, so no worries about pre-purchasing tickets. If you’re feeling a bit peckish during the event, individual pizza slices will also be available for purchase in the cafeteria. So, no one goes hungry!
Now, let’s talk prizes. The top three winners will each receive a super cool T-shirt inspired by Pete and Elda’s pizza challenge shirt, but designed by our very own students in the Italian Honor Society. The first place winner will also be awarded a mystery gift card. To make the event even more thrilling, there will be enthusiastic announcers hyping up the competition. It is going to be a blast and a fantastic way to kick off a new tradition at Middletown High School North. Show your school spirit while also having fun before Christmas break!
So, mark your calendars, gather all your friends, and join us for our first-annual, unforgettable Pizza Eating Competition, you don’t want to miss it. Let’s make it a memorable event and create a long lasting tradition here at North. See you there!
