Middletown High School North teacher Randy Kalman has launched an energy efficiency contest with his students to focus on not wasting energy. The “MN” Energy Efficiency Contest is a continuation of the contest Mr. Kalman’s classes won through New Jersey Natural Gas and the EmPower program.
Mr. Kalman’s students made an informational video about energy savings and have organized a contest for Middletown North teachers to see who has saved the most energy. Mr. Kalman hopes that this initiative will bring awareness to how wasteful we can be in regards to energy.
If any teacher wants to participate, they can email Mr. Kalman at [email protected]. Teachers will not be responsible for doing anything, as Mr. Kalman’s classes will handle every aspect of the contest. The equipment to conduct the audit has just arrived and they are excited to get it going.
