HALLOWEEN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM PRINCIPAL CULLEN:
High School North Families,
As we prepare for Halloween, please be advised that students may wear costumes to school on Tuesday, October 31st. It is essential, however, that the expectations outlined in our district’s comprehensive dress code are upheld. Its specifics are clearly outlined on pages 26 and 27 of the 2023-2024 Handbook.
It is important to note that costumes should be practical, ensuring safety and disallowing disruptions of the academic day. Additionally, these outfits must be respectful and non-controversial, promoting the positive values that serve as the very foundation of our school community. Moreover, masks and props/accessories that depict violence in any way are strictly prohibited. Lastly, per the township’s Fire Marshall and our Central Administration, inflatable costumes are not permitted.
We look forward to an enjoyable and memorable Halloween experience across the campus!
Sincerely,
Kevin G. Cullen MHSN Principal
