Middletown students in grades 4 through 12 have been participating in “Start Strong” Assessments over the past few weeks. The purpose of these assessments is to help teachers understand how well students have retained mastery of their previous school year’s standards in Math, Language Arts, and Science (grades 6, 9, and 12 only). Start Strong assessments were given during class time and provide immediate feedback for teachers and support staff. Official score reports will be sent home to all families once they are received from the New Jersey Department of Education.
