From May 2 through May 6, 2022, Middletown High School North will be recognizing Teacher Appreciation week.  According to Middletown High School North principal Patricia Vari- Cartier, this week should focus on all of the amazing things that educators do for the young residents of Middletown.

“Teachers deserve to be recognized and celebrated for their dedication and commitment to meeting the needs of all of our students throughout the school year. Thank you for everything you do day in and day out” said Cartier.  The Middletown North administrative team will provide teachers with recognition awards and meals throughout the week.  Teachers will be receiving “Tokens of Our Gratitude” for everything they do day in and day out.  Besides the tokens, on Monday, May 2: the Middletown North Administrative Team hosted a Continental Breakfast in the Teachers’ Lounge Room 2128.  On Friday, May 6, the MHSN PFA will be providing a luncheon from Tacoholics in the Teacher’s Lounge during the lunch blocks.

This year, Middletown North will also host different daily themes in recognition of Teach Appreciation Week which include:

Meaningful Monday, May 2: Thank you for “rooting” for us and helping us “grow.” Wear green to show your support and how much the teachers mean to you.
Twinning Tuesday, May 3: Dress like your favorite teacher who is your role model.
Wonderful Wednesday, May 4: It’s such a treat to have you as teachers. Bring a favorite snack(s) to your teacher(s).
Thankful Thursday, May 5: Write your teacher(s) a thoughtful message (note, email, tweet or card).
Lion Pride Friday, May 6: Wear orange and black to show your “pride” for the MHSN teaching staff.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE MHSN TEACHERS AND STAFF THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR COMMUNITY!
