The Middletown North Lions baseball team continued their good season on Tuesday, April 26th, as they defeated the top ranked Shore Conference team, CBA. Senior Phil Pecherski started for the No. 5 Lions and threw 5 ⅓ strong innings. He gave way to sophomore Tyler Ras, who got the final 5 outs on the mound.
Ras also led the Lions offense, going 3-4 with an RBI. Sophomore Garrett French and senior Cole Fluta also chipped in, with each hitting a 2 run double to give the Lions a 6-2 upset win over the Colts. The Lions record is now 8-5.
