It’s that time of the year again–when kids start making hotel reservations near the beach, get their grades together, and fluff up their pillows for lots and lots of sleep over spring break. With the quarterlies next week along with spring break (and, for those who celebrate, that great holiday where a giant rabbit breaks into your home, steals all your eggs, and hides them around your house,) students are rushing to get their grades up before the end of the marking period and the week long break away from High School North.
But what are the students, the very heart and soul of High School North, doing for the break? One student, who respectfully asked to remain anonymous, said,
“I’m just going to sleep over break. It’s a good time to get a lot of missed sleep–and to catch up on the newest episodes of ‘Orange is the New Black’ on Netflix.”
Some people are going away to places such as Cape May, and others are staying home. Either way, hopefully for many, many people, it is a safe break full of fun and (hopefully) sun.
