MHSN 70- Midd South 63

Middletown North squared off against cross town rival Middletown South at home on Tuesday night. North Jumped out to an early 17-9 lead in the first quarter, then watched it dwindle away going into halftime with a 29-26 lead. It came down to the wire for the Lions who came away with a hard fought 70-63 overtime a victory in overtime.

The eagles were lead by Kevin Naughton and Dan Roibal. Roibal came up with a clutch basket to send the game into overtime. But the Lions were too much, lead by some great defense by Dylan Frawley, some lights out shooting from Vincent Youncofski, and late points from Troy Thompson.

With tempers flaring and energy high the Lions came away with a quality divisional win!
