This film is nothing less than spectacular; a moving horror movie with a great back story that will scare you for days.
Six years after the death of his father 6-year-old Samuel is tormented by a monster in his dreams. After being labeled as troubled and being rejected by everyone from teachers to his own mother. Samuel’s dreams turn out to be true as him and his mother are tortured physically and psychologically by a character from a cartoon book.
The Babadook is a horror movie for the ages as is portrays a mother’s physical and psychological struggles with her troubled son Samuel. This movie combines a terrific plot with masterful cinematography, switching from Amelia’s thoughts to real life seamlessly. Lastly, you can’t complete a scary movie without an awesome erie soundtrack to build the suspense.
