“Game of Thrones” fans are excitedly awaiting the return of the beloved HBO series opening up with season 4 on April 6, this upcoming Sunday. For those who are avid “Game of Thrones” fans, the last season (season 3) had many jaw dropping moments that lead to jumping off of couches, shouts of excitement and anger, and even some instances of tears.

  The most shocking episode, the episode 9, “The Rains of Castamere”,  killed off half of the remaining Stark family and has left fans waiting with that much more anticipation for this new season.

  A look into the first 3 episodes of the new season is provided by San Josa Mercury News introducing a new character at Joffrey and Margaery’s royal wedding, Oberyn. There is also a sneak peak into Daenerys  Targaryen’s story and the troubles she will face as she marches to the Iron Throne. In addition to this, there are big plans for Jon Snow’s storyline along with Sansa and Arya Stark.

  The recent release of the nail biting trailer left viewers wanting more. David Benioff, Co Executive Producer, states the new episodes will have “some of the most shocking and mind blowing scenes of the entire series.”
