  The Lions took on Northern Burlington Tuesday night at MHSN for the first round of New Jersey’s group 3 State tournament. This is a rematch of last years group 3 semifinal where the Lions season came to an end losing to the Greyhounds in Burlington. Some would say that the Lions were looking for revenge at this home game in the Lions’ den as senior Ian Wycoff led the team with 17 points followed by senior Brian Esser who added 12 points and 8 rebounds as the Lions were in control for much of the entire game. North defeated the Greyhounds 64-49. Now North will take on 4 seed Hamilton West High School at 6pm Wednesday night at Hamilton West High School.
