With just two days to go before the 2014 Sochi Olympics Games, it seems as though there are some troubling tides ahead for the city. Constant construction, unavailable bathroom facilities and hotels that are not operational at the time are just a couple of the major problems that are plaguing this Russian city.
Hundreds of journalists and people continue to flock to the Olympic Games, yet they all seem to notice the strange things occurring throughout the entire city. Several people have even posted on major social networking sites, such as Twitter and Facebook, that their hotel rooms do baccarat not have running water or are missing light bulbs to light their rooms.
One German photographer switched rooms because his was unsatisfactory, only to find that his new room was occupied by a stray dog who was simply enjoying the stay.
Additionally, Sochi continues to be under constant construction by direct orders from President Putin. Roads are unfinished, additional hotels are un-operational at the time, and teams are even finding themselves cheated when it comes to rooming accommodations, some having to share beds with up to three of their teammates.
The entire city, along withPresident Putin, are attempting to fix all of these problems as quickly and efficiently as they can before the Winter Olympic Games start this Friday, February 7.
