North vs. South

  Middletown North will take on Middletown South Thursday in their annual Thanksgiving match-up. Middletown South will host the game this year seeking their 13th straight victory over North. On the other hand Middletown North will be looking to snap a 12 game losing streak to the Eagles and this year looks like the year they might be able to do so. This looks to be the most even the match-up has been in recent history as the Lions and the Eagles are only a 1 game apart in the A-North standings as North stands at 3-6 and South stands at 4-5. South is in the midst of their first non-winning season since the 1980’s.

  Both Teams have been bumped out of the first round of the state playoffs therefore making this the final game of both their seasons. South is 25-11-1 in the rivalry between these two cross town schools. South will be led by Senior quarterback Kyle Brey as North will be led by Freshman quarterback Donald Glenn both of whom have passed for over 1,000 yards this season and finished in the top ten for passing yards in the shore. South won last years match-up 21-13 at Middletown High School North. This year the game will be held on thanksgiving day and kickoff will start at 10:30 at Middletown High School South.
