It's Allied Week again at North as students come together to celebrate those in the LGBT community and show our support. It is a week about allying all students no matter what their sexuality is. The GSA, (Gay Straight Alliance- who have set up this week) has been going around the school and asking everyone to sign a paper saying that they are allies. Now, hundreds of papers decorate the walls by the auditorium. Students will also partake in “Day of Silence” for those in the LGBT community who feel they cannot come out and are silenced by their sexuality. “It's definitely a worthy cause,” says GSA member, Sam Fox. “It's so important to accept everyone for who they are. I'm very glad North does this.”
