n Saturday, June 8^th, the National Honor Society held their annual car wash. This year the proceeds went to aid the victims in the recent Oklahoma tornado. The tornado deeply impacted the Oklahoma area and 100% of the proceeds went to the relief effort. The car wash was held in the Applebee’s parking lot, with about 20 students volunteering their time to help those affected. Many of the students advertised outside of the parking lot in order to gain attention. Family of those in National Honor Society were a large percentile of supporters and a large proponent of the proceeds. However, many of the customers were simply drivers in need of a good car wash. Ms. Murphy, the adviser for the group, stated that this years car wash was the most successful yet
