Senior parking was supposed to be one of the privileges of seniors being able to drive and get one of the best spots around school. This year Middletown North’s senior lot is appearing to have more problems than it’s worth. The side parking lot for seniors has been maxed out in spaces.

Already a slight accident has taken place on the first week of school. With over seventy seniors in the main lot alone traffic after school is worse than rush hour. It can take over ten minutes after a student pulls out before they actually get out. Some students such as Paul Petrucci have a very negative opinion on the situation.

When asked Mr. Petrucci says that the school should be more involved and needs to do something about it. He said “that after school when you get out 2:15 and it’s a five minute ride it’s ridiculous that I get home at 2:45”. A very fair point North has a lot of unhappy students and in an environment for learning it’s fair to wonder what how much the school really cares when they have unhappy students.
