Brian Thompson, the New Jersey field reporter for NBC news made a very special visit to Middletown North on February 9, 2012. As part of the League of Women Voters program for tenth graders the assembly with Brian Thompson gives students insight mobile gambling into the relationship between current events and news programs. Brian Thompson delved into his most famous news stories, including  breaking the news of Governer Jim McGreevey”s resignation. The students were given the ability to ask questions at the end, adding a personal touch to Thompson”s visit. The tenth grade students will use the information they gained during this meeting in order to help register the seniors to vote later this year.
