Dr. Patricia Vari-Cartier, our beloved principal, made her most valiant return on November 14th. Extremely happy with how the school was managed in her absence Dr. Cartier gave a glowing review of the efforts put forth by Mr. Jack Carmody and Ms. Victa McKenzie.
She felt as if she “had never been away” and is looking forward to attending the school play and the holiday concert on the 15th. However she acknowledges that because of her surgery, that took place this past October, she will have to adapt to the restricted movement of her right arm. Dr. Cartier is facing a long road ahead of her, but is tackling her recovery with visits to a physical therapist three times a week.
At the end of our interview she made a few comments in light of our new online newspaper, she called it “totally different, innovative, and timely.” Dr. Cartier is pleased to see students taking such an active role in utilizing new technology.
