Monday, September 30, singer-songwriter Conan Gray brought his “Found Heaven On Tour” to New York City for a sold out performance at Madison Square Garden. The tour comes in support of Gray’s third studio album Found Heaven, which was released last spring.
With a majority of songs from the new album, Conan Gray also performed favorites from his past albums Superache and Kid Krow and premiered a new song entitled “Holidays” that had the crowd at MSG singing every word with ease. There were a total of 21 songs on the setlist.
The tour highlights Conan Gray’s strong vocals and stage presence as it creates an emotionally charged experience for fans, especially the powerful renditions of beloved hits like “Heather,” “Jigsaw,” and “The Story”. Other upbeat anthems include the songs “Never Ending Song” and “Winner”.
“Found Heaven” leans heavily into a synth-pop sound that is reminiscent of 80s artists such as David Bowie and The Cure, which translates effectively to Conon Gray’s live performance with its vibrant lights/visuals and creative stage designs.
The tour has been an overwhelming success for Conan Gray’s musical evolution as his catchy pop melodies, heartfelt lyrics and captivating live performances resonate well with his fanbase.
