Friday, December 9 , R&B artist SZA released her first album in five years titled “ SOS.” SOS consists of twenty-three tracks and features other current artists such as Travis Scott, Don Toliver, and Phoebe Bridgers. 

This album offers a fresh and unique style of R&B. She manages to seamlessly blend genres from her typical R&B style to pop, alternative and indie pop throughout these songs. As of now, her most listened to song of the album is “ Kill Bill,” which is a reference to the popular Uma Thurman movie and has approximately 144.5 million streams on Spotify. SOS has also earned the number one album on billboard 200 for four weeks in a row and was the first R&B album by a woman to spend three weeks at number one since Beyonce in 2013. 

Overall, the album is fun, experimental and extremely catchy. The choruses are bound to get stuck in your head and her amazing voice pulls it all together!
