The Monmouth County Clerk’s Archives Division has been responsible for maintaining Monmouth County’s historical documents and records for many years.  Each year they host the Archives and History Day to showcase the importance of Monmouth County history, and this year’s theme is “Monuments and Markers of Monmouth County.”

All Monmouth County high school students are invited to showcase their favorite County monument or marker by entering our Archives and History Day Photography Contest.  The top three (3) contest winners will be awarded prizes at Archives and History on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at approximately noon at the Robert J. Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

The prizes are:
First Place – $175 Gift Card
Second Place – $125 Gift Card
Third Place – $100 Gift Card

Attached are the full contest rules and eligibility, as well as our contest flyer. Please note that the contest entry deadline is Friday, September 23, 2022.

You are also encouraged to attend the event on October 1st to learn about Monmouth County history.
