The movie Bird Box was released to Netflix on December 13, 2018 and has been spoken about immensely ever since.

Originally a novel, Bird Box occurs after a mysterious force has taken control of the population . While little is known about the force, it does not take long to figure out that this force consists of monsters that cause you to possess intense negative emotions. These monsters take the form of the worst fears of their victims.

In hopes of reaching safety, a woman named Malorie (Sandra Bullock) and her two children take on a dangerous journey down the river and through the woods. This journey is to get them to a safe place filled with others who have survived the monsters. However, there is one important catch-the whole trip must be done blindfolded to avoid seeing the monsters.

Bird Box is unlike other horror movies. It is a new and fresh idea that was executed incredibly well.  The actors and actresses delivered enticing performances, especially Sandra Bullock who played the leading role.  The plot was very interesting and kept the attention of the viewer throughout the whole film.

The film had a range of both suspenseful and emotional scenes that kept viewers on the edge of their seats.  Yet, while a majority of the movie was very exciting, the ending was missing the action that the rest of the movie had and was a bit underwhelming.

Overall Bird Box was a good movie with an interesting plot that is definitely worth watching.
