A Merry, Merry Christmas Carol
This weekend the Middletown High School North’s drama club put on one of the most beautiful plays the school has ever produced. Mrs. Tara Mahoney and Mrs. Geraldine Mahoney directed the recent play, A Christmas Carol.
The Drama Club put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to make the play as amazing as it was. The true potential and passion that came from the actors was iconic. Cast members that gave leading performances in this play included seniors Kyle Kennedy as Scrooge, Tyler Davis as Bob Cratchit and Meg Ferrara as Ebby and Mrs. Cratchit. All members of the cast put in hard work through months of long practices and dress rehearsals.
Also, the play could not have been completed without the help of the technical crew. With Alex Kern as the Student Technical Director, Patrick Ballard, and other lighting and audio assistants, the play would not have been the same.
Throughout every scene, applauds, cheers, and gasps filled the amphitheater. It was a massive success, warming the hearts of everyone and reminding them of the true meaning of Christmas.
