Bruno Mars Comes to the East Coast
Bruno Mars Comes to the East Coast Tuesday night, September 26, 2017, Bruno Mars came to the East Coast in New Jersey and performed at Newark’s own Prudential Center for a crowd of over 18,000 people. Dua Lipa opened for the star, with her most famous hits and got positives vibes out of the crowd in anticipation of Bruno Mars coming out.
The doors for the concert opened early, however most guests did not find their seats until after the official starting time, 8 P.M., waiting until Bruno Mars himself was on the stage.
Prior to him coming on stage, Mars lowered large tapestries on each side of it repping his 24 Karat Album cover, dismantling its visibility and for a few minutes, scaring fans who had seats on the sides of the stage and thought they were going to remain there the entire concert. Once Bruno Mars came out, the banners raised and he opened with songs from his new album including 24K Magic, Finesse, and Straight Up and Down.
Fans went wild for the star with moves like Michael Jackson when he began to dance. Mars also proceeded to play the electric guitar, while singing and dancing with the rest of his band.
Bruno Mars included several of his older songs in a remixed version, those including Grenade, Treasure, Locked out of Heaven, then slowed down and performed When I Was Your Man, Marry You, It Will Rain, Grenade, and Just The Way You Are.
These slow songs tied up the night, however as the crowd chanted for an encore, Mars jumped out with his singers who were all repping 24K Magic T’s, and closed the night off with his extremely liked song, Versace.
Fans lost it when the singer remixed this song for the performance, and the crowd stood up screaming the lyrics.
The concert flooded out after this song, with the Prudential Center selling merchandise within the building, all shirts for $40.
The Bruno Mars 24K tour concert Tuesday featuring Dua Lipa, got extremely positive reviews from the crowd and all hit songs from the artist. As could be seen and assumed from the crowds smiling faces and roaring screams, the fans were happy with the show that Bruno Mars had put on for them. “That was a great concert!”, one fan said while walking out of the concert.
