On Thursday night the 11th of June, the Martha Pennington chapter of the national honor society had their inductions for the class of 2016 as well as their closing ceremony for the senior class of 2015.
The ceremony was run by the class of 2015 officers: Harrison Blarr, Nick Colonna, Alexa Barriero, Jami Betts, and Dana Siclare, along with the help of Ms. Dierickson, Ms. Misciagna, and Dr. Cartier.
“I thought the induction went really well.” said NHS President Harrison Blarr, “Everyone seemed to have a great time and enjoyed their time with their friends and family.”
These students graduating and continuing their education are some of the top students in the country and are recognized nationally by NHS. Many of these students are attending top universities across the country, with high aspirations.
As for the class of 2016 inductees these students have been selected as the best candidates to represent the four cornerstones of NHS, scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
“I’d like to congratulate them for joining this great program and hope that they have a fantastic time next year.” Blarr said
Congrats to all the new inductees, and best of luck to all the graduating members in their future endeavors!
